About Miss Hines
Miss Hines is passionate about teaching drama. She has been teaching for sixteen
years and teaching drama for eleven years. Maureen was honored to receive the
"Elementary drama teacher of the year" award from the Alliance of Colorado
Theatre in 2008. She recently worked at Lexington Children’s Theatre in Kentucky
as their outreach coordinator where she brought theatre programs to rural
communities. Maureen also starred as the evil step mother in their
professional production of Cinderella. Miss Hines has been acting since she was
in 3rd grade and enjoys character acting and children’s theatre the most. She
recently played Glinda the Good Witch in The Wizard of Oz and Grandma
in Little Red Riding Hood at the 73rd Avenue Theatre Company. Miss Hines
enjoys bringing imagination and creativity to the children at Bill Roberts.
